The Area Development Partnership (ADP) is not only dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Greater Hattiesburg now, but for years to come. Our young professionals are the future leaders of our community and it is the responsibility of all of us to foster their growth and development.
Pine Belt Young Professionals (PBYP) is an initiative of the ADP, dedicated to helping Young Professionals throughout the Pine Belt connect to each other and their community. These connections happen through networking, professional development, and community involvement.
This past year, PBYP participated in numerous service projects for the United Way of Southeast Mississippi, Habitat for Humanity, Christian Services, and the Salvation Army. They have also hosted various speakers at their “Blue Plate Special” lunches, and supported many local restaurants at their “Off the Clock” networking events. PBYP has also launched a new website to enhance their brand and provide added benefits for its members.
As membership continues to grow, PBYP will maintain their dedication to providing opportunities for Young Professionals to connect and grow so that when the time does come for these young men and women to take over, they will be ready.
